Workshops is a type of city building in Age of Empires Online.
Gameplay[]
The most common way to produce materials is through Workshops. Workshops can only produce one material at any given time. Recipes for new materials can be found, bought or received, which allows your workshops to produce these new materials.
As soon as you start the production of materials, it will continue to produce materials, even when the player is offline.

The premium players can’t build more than 8 basic workshops and 2 advanced workshops in their Capital City.
