History[]
Chariots featured heavily in Celtic warfare, especially in Britain. Chariot warriors fought by hurling javelins, then dismounting to fight on foot. Heavier chariots were often used to charge the enemy, using the noise of their horses and wheels to terrify the enemy troops.
