Stone is a unique form of resource in Age of Empires Online that can be obtained by mining Stone Mines using Villagers. It is a primary resource used in the construction of most defensive structures.

Stone can be harvested by tasking a Villager to a Stone Mine, they will proceed to mine the rocks until they reach their carrying capacity or until the mine runs out of stone and breaks.
Stone can also be purchased for Gold at a Market.
