The Silver Age is the third Age in Age of Empires Online.

- Following from the Bronze Age and preceding the Golden Age.
- It is characterized by the increased use of competition for resources, more complex technologies, trade, colonization and military expansion.
- It introduces special units like Unique Units and Priests.
- Also increasing technology allows for a wider range of military units and more developed tactics.
- Requires exactly 60 seconds to research if you do not have any research speed increase bonuses.
- Requires 55 seconds to research in Champion Mode.
- Researched at the Town Center for the Greek, Celtic, Persian, and Norse Civilizations and the Ziggurat for the Babylonian Civilization. Egyptian Civilizations need to build the Temple of Set to advance to the Silver Age.
- Base cost is 400 food, 400 wood and 400 gold for either the research or the respective building.
- Celtic Civilisations need to build 8 houses before they can advance. On the other hand, they age up faster and cheaper than the rest (500 food, 500 gold).
- Increases the build limit on Town Centers by one for a total of three.
- You gain access to this age when you reach level 7.
