Gear

The Gear are the enhancements that the units and buildings receive.

Tiers

There are three types of Gear, divided by the level of rarity and every type of armor can be obtained by playing..

• Uncommon (Green)
• Rare (Blue)
• Epic (Purple)

The last two tiers of Gear are only available to those that purchase the Premium Civilization Pack or the Pro Civilization.

Equipment slots

Each unit and building has 2 to 4 equipment slots. The equipment slots usually consist of:

• Slot 1: Weapon or special
• Slot 2: Shields or ammunition
• Slot 3: Armor or construction
• Slot 4: Accessory

Slot 1

• Axe - Usable by Axemen
• Belly Bow - Usable by Greek Gastraphetes
• Bow - Usable by Archers, Triremes and Defensive Buildings
• Fire Pot - Usable by Fire Ships
• Fishing Nets - Usable by Fishing Ships
• Heavy Spear - Usable by Spearmen, Greek Prodromos and Egyptian Camel Riders
• Holy Staff - Usable by Greek Priests and Egyptian Priests of Set and Ptah
• Javelin - Usable by Egyptian Scouts, Greek Peltasts and Sarissophoroi
• Light Spear - Usable by Greek Hoplites and Egyptian War Elephants
• Merchant Gear - Usable by Caravans and Merchant Transports
• Ram Head - Usable by Battering Rams and Siege Towers
• Scepter - Usable by Egyptian Priestess of Ra
• Sling - Usable by Egyptian Slingers
• Sword- Usable by Greek Scouts, Hypaspist and Hippikons
• Throwing Arm - Usable by Ranged Siege Units and Siege Boats.
• Work Tools Work Tools - Usable by Villagers

Slot 2

• Arrows - Usable by Archers, Boats and Defensive Buildings
• Shield - Usable by Egyptian War Elephants and Greek Hippikons, Hoplites, Hypaspists, Peltasts, Sarissophoroi

Slot 3

• Armor Plating - Usable by Siege and Boats
• Cloth Armor - Usable by Archers, Priests, Villagers and Egyptian Slingers.
• Medium Armor - Usable by Infantry
• Light Armor - Usable by Cavalry
• Reinforced Construction - Usable by buildings

Slot 4

• Construction Addition - Usable by buildings
• Engineering Accessory - Usable by Siege units
• Laborer Gear - Usable by Villagers and Caravans
• Scout Special - Usable by Scouts
• Ship Accessory - Usable by Boats
• Soldier Gear Soldier Gear - Usable by Archers, Cavalry and Infantry
• Religious Item - Usable by Priests
