Distance

In Age of Empires Online, distance is measured using a system of numbers with one decimal place.

Any research regarding a way of measuring distance or the relationship between building units and distance will go here.

Distance is used to measure include

• Unit Sight Range
  • The base sight range of Greek Scouts and Egyptian Scouts is 26.0

• Unit Attack Range
  • The base attack range of Greek Toxotes and Egyptian Slingers is 18.0

• Building size
  • A farm takes up a 3x3 building unit space
  • A fortress takes up a 4x4 building unit space
