Armor Bonus is a decrease in the amount of damage a unit takes from units of a specific type. It is a part of the battle equation. Damage incoming from an attacking unit of the specific type is divided by this number.
- Armor vs. ranged: This armor help absorbs piercing damage from ranged or ship units.
- Armor vs. infantry: This armor help absorbs damage dealt from infantries.
- Armor vs. cavalry: This armor help absorbs damage dealt from cavalries.
- Armor vs. crush: This armor help absorbs crushing damage like a catapult or ballista.
